How Lash Extensions Work

Maintenance & Touch-ups:  Semi-Permanent Lashes are permanent with regular touch-ups. Just as you would expect, today's higher quality lash extensions are soft, weightless, & a true extension of your natural lash.

Every 30-45 Days: Approximately 1/3 of your natural lashes fall out. As each lash sheds, a new lash is replacing the old. During this time, general maintenance is needed to keep your lashes looking full & natural.                                                                                             Between Regular Appointments: Brush your lashes with a clean mascara wand, ideally when your lashes are wet. While supporting your lashes, curl them in an upward motion to align, separate, & curl. When cleansing your eyes, softly rub your extensions between your forefingers & thumb.                                                                                                                                                                                                              As A Reminder: To allow the adhesive to fully cure, avoid getting your new lashes wet for the first initial 8-12 hours following your appointment. Every time you touch your lashes, you are transferring natural oils and germs - minimize contact. Oils & oil based products will affect the adhesion, causing the lashes to fall our prematurely. Only water-based (oil free) products are approved. When Returning: For regular touch-ups, do not wear any makeup. This will significantly cut down the time you spend while getting a fill.  When having facial work done, inform all your service providers about your eyelash extensions. Caution is recommended when receiving services that include lasers, chemical peels, hydroxyl treatments &/or any other acidic substances applied to your face.
